We offer small, high-impact microgrants to help third spaces bring more people through the door and keep them coming back.
Maybe you want to host a community potluck, upgrade your lighting for evening events, hire a local band, or finally print those flyers you’ve been meaning to make. Maybe you have a beautiful idea that doesn’t fit a box. That’s what we’re here for. We know a thriving third space doesn’t just need good vibes - it needs resources.
Why We Do This
Right now, over 40% of Americans don't have access to a third space. The ones that do exist are underfunded, underutilized, and too often overlooked. Our microgrants are designed to help community hubs reach the people who need them most. No strings. Just support.
You Can Apply if…
You run or operate a third space in Austin, Texas (We’ll be available in other cities soon!)
You’re already listed or willing to be listed on the Third Space Finder
You have a proposed idea that costs $100-1500
You’ll submit a brief follow-up report within 90 days of receiving funds (photos, outcomes, stories - we will assist you with this)
